Inner City Verbal Achievement
Test
The Inner City Verbal Achievement Test was designed
to show what it is like for a black student learning the white culture
in the prodominatly white schools. This test is given to white students
across the country to show them how a black student feels in several stardardized
tests like the ACT, SAT I, SAT II, IGAP (Illinois Goal Assessment Program),
and many others in your community. This test is made up of 70 questions.
. . vocabulary (matching, 2 pts. each), general questions (multiple choice,
3 pts. each), and translation from jive to English (4 pts. each).
